Nothing But Respect. I feel this piece has been long overdue. I wanted to express that feeling I got whenever I listened to his music during my last winter in high school. The calm feeling I would get from just listening to his music; while hanging out with my best friends, in the middle of nowhere. His music was a big part of the best times I’ve ever had. His music will forever have a big nostalgia factor in my life.R.I.P. DJ Mehdi

I was originally commissioned by Geisha Twins to design artwork for a Prince remix they were gonna be releasing for free. I obviously agreed. because the song was just so good!
Anyway, after struggling to come up with a good concept, I came up with representing prince as zombie, skeleton type thing. I fell in love with the design so much I started to mess around with the colors and while shuffling my iTunes library, I noticed the similarity between the prince cover and the one for Tyler, the creator’s “GOBLIN” album cover. So I gave it a go.
